Better Blogging Through Technology

After working eight Classics plus a number of Elite Series tournaments and Opens for BASS, I feel like I have the blogging game pretty much down. Sure, things change with increased focus on BASS Cams, Skype and BASS Live, but as far as the written word goes that status quo remains in play. Of course that doesn’t mean there aren’t little tricks of the trade that come into play, including semi-specialized equipment that makes the process easier or more reliable.

We all pay attention when there are open disputes on the water, and rightfully so, but if we’re going to do that we also need to report on situations where anglers make the right decisions. It’s less sexy, less controversial, and might not generate as many clicks, but it’s important to present both sides of the coin.

I’m not a big NBA fan, but I do enjoy and respect the various skill set challenges that occur each year at the league’s All Star Game. Of course the slam dunk contest is always a big hit. I love it, but I’d guess it’s not for the same reason that most fans do.
