Cabin fever is a tough thing to shake. When winter arrives it’s grand to watch big snow flakes tumble blissfully to the ground and pile up. But by March, it’s time for a change of scenery. It’s time to oil the fishing reels, swap out old monofilament for new and get back to open water. Take a small thermometer too because the water temperature may affect success even if you are hell-bent on wetting a line.
