Even before I met Matt Paino – guru of all things related to Japanese tackle – I was enamored of certain products in the Deps lineup. The company makes a wide range of dynamic baits like the Buzzjet, the Pulsecod, the Slither K and the Buster K, along with a few other killers I won’t name for fear that the US supply will be depleted. I’ve also managed to get my sticky paws on a few Japan-only products that get me pretty excited as well.
The bottom line is this: try ‘em, unless you fish on the same waters I do, in which case please disregard this entire blog post.
Knowing my affinity for the company, Matt was kind enough to send me a Buzzjet signed by Kazumasa Okumara, the company’s owner. Too pretty and too valuable to fish, it’ll get an honored spot in the office.
